<description>As the leading journal for string and brane theory, Journal of High Energy Physics (JHEP) publishes the most important results from both distinguished leaders and younger newcomers in this fast moving field. Recent papers have included major results on brane thermodynamics, D-brane decay, tachyons, pp-wave spacetimes and particle phenomenology. As one of the largest and most highly cited journals in high energy physics, with an impact factor of 6.854, JHEP publishes key research articles, across all areas, from the best authors in the field.  The journal is owned by the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and published by IOP.</description>
