<description>Journal of Neural Engineering is an important new international journal publishing original research and reviews in the interdisciplinary field of neural engineering. Launched in March 2004, the journal is the first publication of its kind dedicated to support this exciting field. The journal encompasses all aspects of neural engineering, including experimental, computational, theoretical, clinical and applied aspects of: neural interfacing; neuroelectronics; neuromechanical systems; neuroinformatics; neuroimaging; neural prostheses; neural circuits: artificial and biological neural control; neural functions and performance; neural tissue regeneration; neural signal processing and neural modelling and neuro-computation.</description>
